For Boys and Girls Aged 11 – 14 Yrs

Imagine you are exploring a mountain wilderness with a small group of friends, camping out, cooking for yourself, sharing ghost stories around a campfire each night.  You are just 12 or 13 years old, but you are not afraid – because you are skilled and fit and in safe hands.

IT’S A GREAT ADVENTURE – IT’S SCOUTING

There are many more kinds of adventure – canoeing, sailing, rafting, lifesaving, skiing, camping, finding your way in the bush, photographing wild animals, recording your own songs, sending messages by secret code, operating a radio station, searching for gold, helping in emergency rescues.  A Scout gets to do all kinds of exiting, interesting and enjoyable things.

But the greatest adventure of all is friendship.  Belonging to a group of friends you can depend on.  Sharing the fun of learning, growing strong and exploring the world.
